This little corner of Andalusia is home to a rich pottery tradition, which is now recognised and protected as an Asset of Cultural Interest. We invite you to discover the culture of Jaén from another perspective with a visit to our workshop.
Explore the world of pottery with us
At Modelando entre olivos we offer you unique activities to experience Jaén’s ceramics culture first hand. For approximately two hours, you will have the opportunity to:
- Visit our small workshop and exhibition space, where we will reveal the complete ceramics creation process to you.
- See the potter in action at his wheel and, if you’re up for it, try your hand at making a small piece with his help.
- Have a coffee, accompanied by delicious homemade pastries made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) produced in our village, while you enjoy the views of the olive groves and immerse yourself in stories and trivia about Jaen’s ceramics and rich culture.
Small groups for a more personalised experience
We limit our groups to a maximum of 8 people to ensure we provide close, personalised service, allowing you to enjoy your visit to the full. A minimum of 4 participants is required.

We encourage you to complete your day by exploring Arjonilla's rich historical and cultural heritage. Don't miss the Moorish castle, the imposing 16th-century church and the Civil War air-raid shelters, two of which are now open to the public. And if you prefer to be in contact with nature, the olive groves are waiting for you, just a 5-minute walk from our workshop.
