Weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon
Would you like to relax in a charming little village surrounded by olive trees? Have you always liked to create things with your own hands?
Would you like to discover the world of olive oil?
Relax working the clay while you listen to the birds singing and enjoy the beautiful landscape characteristic of Jaén.
What are we going to do?
Friday afternoon:
After settling in, we’ll visit Miguel Ángel’s workshop, where you’ll start to learn about the history of ceramics and its crafting process. Depending on the time and season, we may also take a walk through the olive grove (just a 5-minute walk from our home).
We’ll end the day with a dinner at home, featuring local products.

Saturday:
Morning: Guided tour of the García Morón olive mill with extra virgin olive oil tasting.
Lunch at home.
Afternoon:
Guided tour of Arjonilla and rest of the afternoon/evening at leisure.
Dinner at home.
Sunday:
Morning: Ceramics workshop (3 h).
Lunch at home.
Coffee and farewell.

This experience combines the tradition of olive oil tourism with the creativity of ceramics, offering you a full immersion into the essence of Jaén. You’ll discover the history and significance of extra virgin olive oil in our culture, learn about its production process, and enjoy a tasting session to appreciate its unique nuances.
Sunday will be dedicated to ceramics, where you’ll create your own piece using the slab-building technique. If you’d like, you can also try your hand at the potter’s wheel. You could craft a cup, a small vase, a tray, or any other idea that inspires you. Keep in mind that your pieces will need time to dry and be fired, so you can collect them in a few weeks or have them sent to your home (shipping costs are not included). Of course, all materials and the firing of your piece are included in the experience.
You’ll enjoy all of this in a warm and welcoming environment, sharing unique moments with us and other participants. It’s a true immersion into the tradition, nature, and creativity of our land.
